Estonian Defense Minister at Cyber Security Bureau


Estonian Defense Minister at Cyber Security Bureau Within the visit to Georgia Defense Minister of Estonia held meeting in LEPL Cyber Security Bureau. Juri Luiki visited the Bureau together with First Deputy Defense Minister Lela Chikovani. Director of the Cyber Security Bureau Rodion Korchilava hosted the guests and briefed them on history, mission, tasks and structure, as well as future plans of the Bureau. Deputy Defense Minister and the Bureau director expressed gratitude to the Estonian side for its support and underlined Estonia’s contribution in developing cyber security sphere of Georgia. Ambassador of Georgia to Estonia Tea Akhvlediani, Ambassador of Estonia to Georgia Kai Kaarelson, Defence Attaché of Estonia, LTC Kuldar Kesküla, as well as the members of Estonian delegation and employees of the Cyber Security Bureau attended the meeting. Georgia and Estonia have been cooperating in cyber security sphere since 2013. Estonian support and sharing its experience in this regard played an important role in foundation process of Cyber Security Bureau in Georgia. The Estonian side, Estonian experts were actively participating to the cyber security direction as well. Defense Minister of Estonia pays an official visit to Georgia. Defense Minister of Georgia Levan Izoria hosts his Estonian counterpart.
