Visit of Estonian delegation on cyber defence issues

On August 14, 2017 the delegation of the Cyber Policy and International Cooperation Departments of the Ministry of Defense of Estonia paid a visit to the Cyber Security Bureau of the Ministry of Defence of Georgia. The visit was conducted in accordance with the Bilateral Cooperation Plan for 2017 between the Ministries of Defence of Georgia and Estonia and aimed the evaluation of the situation in the sphere of cyber security in the country and particularly in the defence sphere of Georgia. During the meeting the guests were briefed on the Bureau's activities, implemented projects, achievements, challenges and future plans. Also, parties discussed Bureau’s participation in the cyber exercises and issues related to joining NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Center of Excellence (CCD COE). In the frames of the visit Estonian delegation also had a meetings with the head of NLO, representatives of the SNGP Core Team, J6 Department of the General Staff of Georgian Armed Forces and IT Department of the MOD, Director of the Data Exchange Agency of the Ministry of Justice and representatives of State Security and Crisis Management Council.
