Inter-agency cooperation

One of the most important aspects of cyber security is the overall/total support - cooperation with private sector and inter-agency coordination. In the framework of inter-agency cooperation, the CSB cooperates with the LEPL -Data Exchange Agency (MOJ), Cybercrime Division of the Central Criminal Police Department (MIA), State Security Service, State Security and Crises Management Council, etc.

In 2015-2016, within the framework of inter-agency cooperation, the national level cyber exercise “Cyber Exe” was held with the involvement of IT specialists from state and private sector.

Since 2014, the CSB has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) with LEPL - David Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy, LEPL State Service of Veterans Affairs, Non-Commercial Legal Entity - General Giorgi Mazniashvili Youth Legion, Non-Commercial Legal Entity - Internet Development Initiative and Ltd. Kvira.

Aim of the MoU with LEPL - David Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy, is to plan and implement joint activities aimed at raising awareness in cyber security field.

The MoU with LEPL - State Service of Veterans Affairs serves as further cooperation mechanism between the two parties in sphere of cyber security.

The MoU signed with Non-Commercial Legal Entity - General Giorgi Mazniashvili Youth Legion, provides framework of cooperation in the field of cyber awareness.

Aim of the MoU with Non-Commercial Legal Entity - Internet Development Initiative is to conduct research and analyze cyber security threats, promote the development of cyber security standards and cooperation in cyber security field.

MoU with the Ltd. Kvira aims at promoting civic education in cyber security, raising awareness, increasing interest of civil society and media, conducting coverage of information provided by the CSB, news and trends in cyber security field, as well as developing and implementation of joint projects.
